Cory Doctorow: Writing in the Age of Distraction

I can’t quite remember if I read this piece back in the day. But I got back to it on a recent dive into Cory’s materials, which then made me wonder if he had written about how he approaches writing. It is a nice touch that he has kept coming back to this and updated the topic around the Memex Method.

Also, side note: the “Age of Distraction” of 2009 was a milder flavor than what we are dealing with today. The war on our attention that is being fought with the best technology available has only accelerated.
