What About Rails?

I always appreciate when someone is paying attention and doesn’t just buy everything as presented.

I listened to DHH a bit on recent podcast appearances. To me, he’s just on a promotional tour for whatever he currently does and/or recently did. And boy is he fired up about anything and everything. In longer doses, it gets quite irritating. But take that as my personal opinion.

Bottom line: DHH is presenting one side of the spectrum. He has a huge platform. I don’t see him being concerned with Rails the community, the craft as a whole, or anything but what he does and cares about.
